Protecting Utah’s redrock wilderness has never been about a single moment or a single victory. It’s a long, unfolding effort—one that depends on people willing to stand up for these landscapes over the long haul. That’s why monthly giving matters so much.

Visit the link in our bio to join our Canyon Keepers monthly giving program today. To welcome you to the Canyon Keepers circle, we’ll send you a limited-edition Canyon Wren canvas bag, designed by the lovely Riley Lubich (@rileyluu).

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is rushing for The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is rushing forward on travel management plans for two very different but spectacular areas: Trail Canyon and Dinosaur North.

The BLM is accepting public comments on both plans, each of which analyzes the varying impacts of off-road vehicle travel. For both travel plans, only Alternative B—modified by additional route closures—would comply with the BLM’s duties to protect natural and cultural resources and balance conflicts between motorized and non-motorized recreationists. In both cases Alternative B would remove redundant and particularly damaging routes while helping preserve wilderness study areas and other wilderness-quality lands.

Trail Canyon includes places like Moquith Mountain, Orderville Canyon, and the east and north forks of the Virgin River.

Dinosaur North encompasses the John Wesley Powell National Conservation Area, Browns Park, and the B and C sections of the Green River (well known to river runners).

Comment period ends, Wednesday, July 22. ACT NOW at links in bio. #protectwildutah
