Public Lands Sell-off is back in the Senate Budget Bill—and it’s getting worse! Over 250 million acres, including local recreation areas, wilderness study areas, inventoried roadless areas, and critical wildlife habitat are eligible for sale.

In Utah (see map on slide 3) this comes to 18.7 million acres—6.1 of US Forest Service and 12.7 of Bureau of Land Management land. It includes lands surrounding Utah’s national parks, lands with high-quality wildlife habitat and innumerable cultural resources, and world-class hiking, biking, skiing, hunting, and fishing areas.

Check out more maps (including other states) from our friends at @wildernesssociety using the link in our bio and reach out to your Senators ASAP.
