Indian Creek
Saturday, October 21st to Sunday, October 22nd

Join SUWA in Bears Ears National Monument at Indian Creek. We will assist Monticello BLM field ranger efforts to protect sensitive riparian areas, better define camping and travel corridors, and help educate the public on Leave No Trace principles.

Our aim is to protect nearby habitat and plant communities in the midst of a heavy area use. Minimalist fencing and natural materials will delineate areas of use and restoration.

Volunteer work will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers are encouraged to camp. A dinner is planned for Saturday night.
