SUWA is participating in the 2018 Uplift Climate Conference, a gathering for young people across the southwest to create a regional movement for climate justice on the Colorado Plateau. This conference is open to people ages 18-30ish and elders with new or old roots near the Four Corners.

This outdoor gathering takes place under the breathtaking piñon-juniper cover of the Cibola National Forest at the Cedro Peak Campground outside of Albuquerque, NM.

Please join us to find your place in this movement. Topics will cover public land protection, migration justice, moving beyond extractive economies, food justice, and defending Greater Chaco. We will dive into themes of healing, resistance, and protection to create a just future for all in the southwest.
