The Great Salt Lake Bird Festival is one of the most unique bird festivals in the country. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources recently opened the new George S. and Dolores Dore’ Eccles Wildlife Education Center at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area. They have offered to host Great Salt Lake Bird Festival at this new facility right on the edge of the Great Salt Lake. When you come to the Festival you will be in the middle of some exciting wetlands and a lot of birds.
