Ogden Heritage Festival 150th Anniversary!

May 11 @ 10:00 am - 9:00 pm UTC-6

Stop by the SUWA booth at this year’s special Ogden Heritage Festival!

Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, Ogden’s dynamic and vibrant community will be in the spotlight. This celebration is an opportunity to share our past, our present and our future.

The Heritage Festival is an annual celebration. This particular event will be a special anniversary edition spanning May 9-11. SUWA will host an information booth at the festival on Saturday, May 11. The Big Boy 4014 and 844 steam trains will be on display at Union Station. The Station will be full of exhibits celebrating the influence of the trains and rail industry. The event will also expand up Historic 25th Street for three full days of historic presentations, live music, performances, vendors, community activities and more.

Come by and learn how we all came together to win wilderness protection for 663,000 acres of the San Rafael Swell, Labyrinth Canyon and Desolation Canyon earlier this year! Learn what role, at any level, as a volunteer or activist, you can play in helping to Protect Wild Utah.

Volunteers needed to help staff SUWA’s booth. Email dave@suwa.org.
