Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
Friday, March 9th to Saturday, March 10th

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument for a two-day service project this March. We will work with The Escalante Interagency Office – selected as a Leave No Trace hotspot in 2018 – to address trail and travel impacts in the Calf Creek Recreation Area and atop Spencer Flat.

Saturday, March 17th to Sunday, March 18th

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers in the West Desert this March! We will be working along the Notch Peak Wilderness Study Area, as well as in the nearby Barn Hills over two days in mid-March.

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers up Mill Creek drainage in the wilderness-quality Mill Creek Canyon WSA. We will be working to protect the WSA boundary and interior from high-impact travel.

Deep Creek Mountains

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers in the magnificent Deep Creek Mountains this summer. We will be working on route rehabilitation and WSA Boundary protection in Utah’s westernmost range.

Elk Ridge in Bears Ears National Monument
Saturday, July 14th to Sunday, July 15th

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers high atop Elk Ridge in Bears Ears National Monument this July. We are returning to Elk Ridge to continue our work establishing elk exclosure fencing to promote aspen shoot regeneration. We will be working with the Manti-La Sal Forest Service over two weekends in July on this and other project work.

Manti-La Sal National Forest
Saturday, July 28th to Sunday, July 29th

Join SUWA’s Field Volunteers in Bears Ears National Monument this July. We will work with the Forest Service on sign installation and monitoring work in high elevation regions of the Monument. This is the second of two projects with the Manti-La Sal Forest Service in July.
