Redrock activists greet President Obama’s motorcade in Denver

“On Tuesday, September 27th, we stood across the street from Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver where President Obama was speaking about his jobs creation program.

As the motorcade left the school, we saw President Obama in the limousine.  He appeared to be looking at our bright yellow banners and waved.

We hope that our message of ‘Protect Greater Canyonlands’ rang a bell and that he will put conservation and responsible recreation ahead of unsustainable resource extraction and irresponsible off-road vehicle use.”
